Sewing Mish-Mash

During my "crafting breather" I have actually sewn more and more varied things than ever! I am so weird! :)

There is something freeing about closing my shop down! But I am excited to have it back up and with new items soon, once the sun comes out and I can take decent photos for the listings.

Here's a little sampling of a few items that will be going up.

I am trying to become more organized with my methods of madness. I geekily created a sewing project Word document and printed it out so that I can list the names of projects I want to get done along with notes about them. That way I can have a focus and check things off the list as I go. This helps me be more productive than flying by the seat of my pants and feeling scattered. I am usually like, "wait...what was I working on and what step was I on?" or "I want to do this and this and this and this..." Beauty and order go hand in hand... :)

My hubby bought me a new machine recently! I hadn't asked for one or dropped any hints, but he wanted to get me one anyway, which was really sweet. I am loving it and it has so many decorative stitches I want to try out. Here is the one he bought me:
It has an electronic display and 80 stitch options. There is also a removable table arm that is going to be great for sewing big bags and doing free-motion quilting.

Can you tell I'm excited?!

On to the next project!
