Polka Dot Handles

I found these adorable handles at our local quilt shop today and fell in love! These would be so cute to add to a bag someday. I put it on my bag to-do list before I die. I guess it is a bag bucket list. :)

I have never sewn through leather before and would definitely need to go out and buy a leather needle and make sure I had the right kind of thread. It would be cute on a medium-sized satchel-type bag. I could see them going with some soft, flowery blue-hued fabric. Yum!

I have been using them for years and they have never let me down like the Coats & Clark ones from JoAnns do. Those can be scratchy" when you are zipping them up and they can sometimes tug or get stuck. Zipits are smooth and they don't screech when you are opening/shutting them. The YKK brand name is the best quality.

I pay about .68 cents per zipper (6") with Zipit, compared to over $1.50 a piece for a C&C zipper. Insane! Plus Zipit always gives cute little zipper pulls with your order. :)
