A Place for Inspiration & Ideas

Hellooo...

I have decided that I want to make this blog less of a place where I blather on intermittently about things I make or that are for sale, and more of a place to foster inspiration for YOUR creative side. The reason you come here is most likely because you are a creative person yourself, especially if you can appreciate my ~funky~ designs. ;)

So, that being said, without further ado...

Here is the first post to ignite your brains with something that prompts you to be creative:

This is a piece of blue "fire" Labradorite in Madagascar. I couldn't find too much about it in the time I had. But isn't it amazing in both color and pattern?!?! I found it by Googling "amazing things in nature".

"Labradorite is so unique, a natural background of earthy Gray make up this natural stone. The surprise is an ethereal play of light or fire called Labradorescence when the stone shifts and moves in the light, so beautiful!"

I am naturally going to pull inspiration from things in Creation because that is the dwelling place of all true beauty here on earth! God is an amazing thinker, Creator, and artist.

What does it remind you of? It reminds me of a Blue Swallowtail butterfly (I think that is the right name). It also reminds me of the veins on a leaf. There are so many common designs found in the outdoors because they have the same Creator.
