Lunch bag, done!
Bye, bye ugly plastic grocery bags or paper sacks. Here is your replacement...
This sucker is thick--a layer of insul-brite and canvas on the interior, and then nylon for the lining. I managed to keep myself from buying new fabric to use for this project and took from my stash to create the exterior. I like these 3 fabrics together and they feel very "lunchy" to me.
This is not something I would want to do again unless I had a LOT of time and patience. The thickness of the materials made it a real bear, but I did not want to have to go buy one from a store (made in China).

Cross that off the list!
